With my first 5K race rapidly approaching I decided to make some changes with my training. I really wanted to get on a specific running schedule so I’ll be able to jog the entire distance. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Couch-to-5K (C25K) program so I thought I’d give it a shot. I downloaded the 10K version so that I can keep improving after my race! The 5K program is 8 weeks long so I started at week 5 since my race is 4 weeks away. You only have to run three days a week so it’ll literally fit into anyone’s schedule! The app is awesome & I seriously recommend it! I’ve already started seeing improvements &, as you can see, today I was able to run 20 minutes non-stop! That’s just insane… I’ll be jogging an entire 5K in no time.
